Farmhouse design
Modern farmhouse design in Pakistan — small farmhouse layouts and 1 kanal farmhouse plans, built fast as prefab homes by Espace® in Lahore.
Most farmhouse plots in Pakistan are bought for the land as much as the building. The design question is therefore not how to fill the plot, but how little building it takes to make the plot comfortable: a bedroom block, a kitchen and dining area, a shaded veranda and space for guests.
That is a natural fit for prefab construction. Instead of pouring one large house across the plot, you place modules where the trees, the view and the access already are, and leave the rest as garden or orchard.
A small farmhouse works when the plan is honest about the number of rooms actually used. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open living-kitchen area will host a family weekend comfortably; the third and fourth bedrooms usually sit empty for fifty weeks a year.
The ECO Studio POD, the BR1 one-bedroom POD and the A-Frame all work as the core of a small farmhouse, with a veranda or deck added between them. The money saved on rooms is usually better spent on shade, water and a good outdoor sitting area.
On one kanal there is enough room for a compact main unit, a guest pod, a service block and a lawn, if the buildings are placed rather than spread. We plan the layout around three things: vehicle access and parking, the direction of afternoon sun, and where water and electricity enter the plot.
Splitting the house into modules on a 1 kanal farm house also keeps the construction phases affordable. Start with the main unit and the services, then add the guest pod when it is needed rather than borrowing to build every room at once.
A brick farmhouse on a plot outside the city means a contractor, labour accommodation, material deliveries and supervision — and a build that runs through at least one rainy season and one summer of slow work. For a weekend property that nobody is living on full time, that is a difficult project to supervise.
A prefab farmhouse is fabricated in Lahore and installed on a prepared base. The structure carries a 50-year warranty, is engineered to be earthquake safe up to Richter scale 9, and can be extended later with another module. For a second home on agricultural land, that is usually the deciding factor.
We begin with a site assessment and a conversation about how often you will use the property and who will use it. From that we suggest a layout, a model mix and a starting budget, then refine the specification — insulation, glazing, veranda, bathroom count — before fabrication.
Bank financing is available for eligible customers. If you already have a design in mind, send it to us on WhatsApp; if you do not, we will propose one around the models that fit your plot.

The unit is fabricated in our Lahore factory while your base is prepared, then installed on site. Brick construction needs a contractor, labour and curing through changing weather; a prefab farmhouse avoids that programme entirely.
